I coach professionals with a focus on non-technical and public health professionals on kicking off careers in health care innovation. I also coach aspiring, transitioning, and current entrepreneurs on building healthy lives and healthy businesses.
I speak and write about the intersection of public health and tech, innovative approaches to self-care and wellness as well as diversity in tech.
I invest in seed-stage public health tech startups at P2Health Ventures.
I advise startups, corporations and government agencies on strategies for leveraging tech to improve health outcomes among vulnerable populations at Riveted Partners.
Prior, I led product development for ZeroDivide's portfolio of digital health products focused on reducing health disparities. I fostered talent acquisition and investment opportunities through XX in Health, a community of female digital health entrepreneurs and healthcare executives at Rock Health, a digital health incubator. I also led global health service design initiatives in Mozambique, Argentina and Brazil and supported mobile health product development for clients in west and east Africa. I earned my BA in psychology from Yale University and MPH in global health from Columbia University. I serve on the Health IT advisory board for Transdisciplinary Collaborative Center (TCC) for Health Disparities Research at Morehouse School of Medicine. I have been recognized as 40 Under 40 Tech Diversity Silicon Valley, 2016 New Leaders Council San Francisco Fellow, 200 Black Women in Tech to Follow on Twitter and as a 2016 TEDMED Research Scholar.
Outside of work, I love traveling (30 countries and counting) speak Spanish and Portuguese. In my free time, you will find me working out, taking photos, writing, enjoying music and dance from the African diaspora, practicing yoga, drinking whiskey and enjoying all things nerdy.
