About Me

Present day: Professional life

I am a digital health product strategist for early-stage digital health startups specializing in early and new product development and user acquisition. To improve health outcomes, I unite design thinking and public health approaches to advise startups and other health innovators on leveraging digital health innovations to reduce health disparities.

PRESENT DAY: PERSONAL LIFE

With my insatiable wanderlust, I've traveled to over 30 countries on five continents and speak Spanish and Portuguese. Outside of work, you will find me enjoying music and dance from the African diaspora, yoga, wine and all things nerdy.

recent past: Professional life

Prior, I led product development and marketing for ZeroDivide's eHealth portfolio. I fostered talent acquisition and investment opportunities for XX in Health, a community of female digital health entrepreneurs and healthcare executives at Rock Health, a digital health incubator.

distant past: Professional life

Previously, I conducted market research and competitive analysis to commercialize pharmaceutical and biotech products at C1 Consulting. As an early employee of a nonprofit startup providing educational programs for refugee youth, I led program development and strategic planning. I have facilitated strategic partnerships and organizational development for projects funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health. I managed global health service design initiatives in Mozambique, Argentina and Brazil and supported mobile health product development for clients in West and East Africa.  I'm an alumna of Yale and Columbia Universities.

A small list of my big accomplishments

  • Connected 500,000 Africans to better health care services for the United Nations Millennium Villages Project.

  • Advised the Brazilian Ministry of Health on child and adolescent mental health policy development to improve care coordination.

  • Doubled the membership of XX in Health, a national community of female digital health entrepreneurs, and expanded the group to three new cities, leading to a successful acquisition.

  • Ran a half marathon AND raised nearly $3000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
